Default New Struts/Suspension parts

I was looking at replacing my struts sooner than later, and I was wondering what some have to done to get the best bang for the buck.

My plan was to order KYBs (or Monroes/Gabriels?) for all 4 wheels and have a shop install them for me (I've heard it's something I don't want to mess with). That being said, would replacing the strut mounts and/or coil springs be necessary, or at least a good idea as well? I'd like to reduce roll as much as possible, as well as eliminate some of the bumps and the loud thumping coming from the rear.

If you want less roll you will have to add new high performance sway bars and lower the car. On my car I have Eibach sportline springs on Kyb-Gr2 with and Eibach front and rear swaybars.

The job is not that hard but, you will need an impact gun ( I used an electric one mady by Dewalt.) just have the 2 large bolts at the bottom allong with the 10 mm bolt for the brake line and the 3 or 4 on the top of the strut mounts. When the bolts have been removed you can use the impact on the top nut on the mount, strut.

Be sure to get bump stop for new struts, whether you lower the car or not.




Check the rear strut hat for wear. They may need replacing. Mine did.
