Default New Brakes

After nearly killing two deer in teh road a few days ago, I realized that maybe it is time that I got better brakes. Mine are not that good, but if I'm going to upgrade them I'd rather get aftermarket brakes than just repair whatevers wrong with the current ones. Are there any suggestions you guys have, for a guy who likes to floor it between stop-signs?

well if your goin to keep stock rotors and you have all around disc breaks, autozone sells these gold brake pads that I have on mine that even after 30000 miles still show little wear and Im a heavy breaker so id look into those. Good idea to replace the rotors tho if they show pitting and signs of warping...

I have the power-stop slotted and dimpled rotors and hawk pads, they are great, much better than stock.

I'm with the guys above.

Hawk HPS or HP+ depending on how much squeal you can stand and some OE replacement rotors, plus a brake bleed with some good fluid and you're good to go. You'll be WORLDS better, and probably only 100 dollars poorer depending on how much rotor you buy.
