Default Speedometer not working

I finally got my Neon to turn on. I got over 6 codes when this happened and it ended up being the ground strap on the passenger side that wasn't bolted to the block. Now that it turns on and runs fine, my speedo doesn't work , I took it for a test drive and it worked but for a brief moment, no it doesn't work at all. My gas guage and temp work.

96 Dodge Neon SOHC auto.

Any Help is greatly appreciated

Eric...

The 1st gen Neon has faulty solder connections. Try checking the solder points in this link: https://dodgeforum.com/m_179505/tm.htm

While you've got your guage pulled you may as well check the wiring in there, but I honestly believe that it's a soldering issue.

Thanks, A lot It worked pretty good, I don't know why but even my guage culster lights are brighter now they used to look like a yellow color like if had low voltage.

Thanks for your help
