Just put car on road and noticed that high beam light on dash is on no matter which way the lever is.Is that normal?

 

no. it probly has to do with the multifunctions switch, easy replace. 20$ at a junk yard if you find the light to b bothersome. most likely soon you wont b able to get the highbeams to stay on without holding the switch.
