About the same really. Most places I have seen usually carry the V-Power plugs as stock copper plugs. Champions are alright. Not great but OK. Talked to the Champion boys at Route 66 and confirmed that Prostock boys were worried about there plugs and finally had to prove to them that they were fine. Found the all burn in to about 8000 Ohms a little bit high but not outrageous. Heck they tuned the car torun them can't be all that bad. Just change them a little more often then recommended. 30K on Champions might be a stretch. But 20K should be fine. If run hard 10K is good. Heck they are cheap and easy to change.

matpro, do yourself a favor and search the site (think it's a sticky) for info on platinum plugs. If it isn't here, it may be on www.dodgetalk.com/forms in the Neon section, and there's definitely info with pics somewhere on neons.org. Even the Bosch website says not to use platinum plugs on DIS cars like ours.

If plugs or wires improve your cars performance, there was something terribly wrong with the ones you just replaced. Plain ol' copper plugs work great. I can't see spending any more than necessary. Bosch coppers cost me a buck a plug at Autozone, and this set has kept its gap for 36,000 miles now (checked every oil change). Next oil change, they'll get changed out.

I've also seen several articles that show that multiple electrode plugs provide NO added benefit, and may even inhibit flame travel within the cylinder.
For as long as I can recall, the Champion plugs always needed changed about every 15K for best performance.

Champion had a bad couple of runs for a while. Several people I knew had them actually fall apart. I've switched to Bosch coppers to save a whopping $0.20 per plug or so...
