Default ICEMAN BATTERY TRAY????

Hey i just got my ICEMAN CAI a few days ago and i love it. The only thing is that the stock battery tray had some sort of sensor connected to a bolt on the VERY front of the tray (farthest towards the headlights) i think it was some sort of heat sensor or something but i'm not sure. On the tray ICEMAN gives you though there is no place to insert that sensor so now I've got a battery symbol showing up on my gauges. What is that sensor and what to i need to do to get it right?

I put a Caravan 3.0 CAI substitute for the Iceman in mine and came across no such problem. The only thing at that location on the battery tray I noticed was a little tube that looked like all it did was allow air to flow to the battery to keep it cool, which me and my buddy decided it doesn't make that big of a difference anyways and just cut it out of there to fit the filter and everything. Don't know what your problem might be, as I said, I saw nothing like you're talking about.

No i know i could get rid of that and The intake fits fine, it's just there is an electrical wire that needs to be hooked up.

The hole for the battery temp sensor is located under the battery tray on one of the support fins on the iceman intake..
