Default 1996 Neon

Hey Folks,
Newbie
I am looking at a 1996 Neon, Auto 2.0 liter for $400.
Front nose damage,
Will need new hood,radiator and front crossmember
Is it worth the effortAm buying to fix for grandson.
And if I get a positive response, what a some mods I should put on reasonably.

I've heard the first 3 mods you should do to a 1st gen Neon are:

CAI
Exhaust
UDP

And I'd buy that, shouldn't be too big a deal to fix up. You're getting a really decent price on that.

-CAI (iceman, around $200 new, relocates battery and is true cold air intake easy install)
-if it is DOHC don't worry about Exaust.
-Mopar PCM(around $200 new remaps Air/fuel, eliminates speed limiter, bumps RPM cutoff to 7500, easy install)
-prothane motor mount inserts ($40- $50 for all 3 mounts, eliminates wheel hop, broken front mounts on MTX)
-underdrive pulleys
-bored Throttle Body, 55mm is plenty without doing major mods to intake and heads. under $75
probably most noticable upgrades to start with, other than good Turbo setup, then you are looking at $$$$
