idle up switch
Hi,I'm eddy from Australia.I have a 1.8 sohc 97 neon that overheats with the a/c on. I was told it's the idle up switch.Can someone please tell me where it's located (photos would be better). thanks

AKA the IAC (idle air control) sensor. That may or may not be your problem, but it is located on the throttle body (TB) on the right side of the air intake manifold.
The IAC and the TPS (throttle position sensor) are located on the left side of the TB and each has a wiring connector. Just off the top of my head, I think it is the one nearest the engine block, with the TPS in front of it.
