Default Strange sound from gearbox when cold. (3,94 mtx)

I've got a strange metallic sound from my mtx when it's cold. More likely as a loose metalplate or something...
This happens just after I fire it up. The car is parked. This sound go away after a few minutes. The sound coming out of the wright wheel. I have about -10 degree celcius at the moment.

Any idea ??

could be one of your CV's going/gone bad, but that would normally get louder and louder as time passes, not quieter.

Have you checked your fluid level in your MTX lately? You need to fill it up to the top plug hole. It may be that you do not have enough fluid in the tranny to protect it at low temps until it heats up enough and expands enough to quiet it down.

Sounds like a bad throw out bearing.

Next time you start the car when cold, press in the clutch when you hear that sound.
