Default 98 Dodge Neon Clutch Pedal Ignition Lock Switch

I have a 1998 Dodge Neon 2.0L SFI DOHC 4cyl manual transmission. The car will not turn over and does nothing when I turn the key. I can push start the car and it runs fine. I replaced the battery, and tested the starter and the starter is ok. The next item I'm going to try is the clutch pedal ignition lock switch. How do you remove the switch, I tried pulling straight out on it and it does not budge. Any advice on removing this or other issues it could be would be helpful. Thanks.

I had that happen to me on my 98 neon and it was a problem in the wiring harness under the hood where the 2 plugs are for the engine wiring harness I moved the wires around and it started I think it could also be the ignition switch

If I get a chance I'll see if I can find out how to remove it in the book I've never took one out
