I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE FUSE ON MY FUEL PUMP ON MY 95 NEON. THERE IS A SHORT IN THE WIRING SOMEWHERE AND I CAN'T FIND IT. THE CAR IS NOT A STREET CAR SO I WANT TO WIRE IN THE F/P INTO THE TAIL LIGHTS. WHICH WIRES DO I HOOK UP TO GROUND AND AS A LIVE WIRE TO MAKE THIS WORK.

look if u want to wire it in i would suggest running a wire to the battery then back t the fuel pump it not the break light cuz if u b low a fuse car will stop have to run the headlights all the time but u still will have to reroute the map sensor on the motor cuz as the fue mioxture changes withe the motor the map sensor changes it fuel best solution is rewire the fuel pump wiring takes about 2 hours had same problem so to the bone yard take one off from the front ofr the motor get it from the back other waise aking a chance of blowing car up good luck

 

SO WHICH WIRES SHOULD I BW RE-WIRING? WHAT CLOURS SHOULD GO TO WIRE. WHICH IS THE GROUND- POSITIVE ECT. WHY DOES THE FUEL PUMP HAVE 4 WIRES. IF I WANT TO REWIRE IT WHICH IS THE BEST WAY AND WHERE SHOULD EVERY WIRE BE RUN TO??

Calm down. This is not a common question and with your attitude most people don't wanna help you. This is a very friendly forum and you don't need to get an attitude because no one has answered your question. About 80% of the questions that I myself ask, don't get answered completly or quickly, because they are very technical or odd questions. I have no idea which wire goto what, try posting your question in here, it seem right up your alley, request a wiring diagram.

 

Not sure where you think i'm not being calm. It had been 6 days since my last post and was just asking guys again if they could help me out. i don't have an attitude. just looking for help. Guess i should look else where.
