Are you looking for the grounds in the bay? One is from eh PS bracket to the strut tower, another one runs from the battery to he frame. And a big boy runs from the battery to he starter bolt. No idea what the noise was. Maybe a belt slipping because it was wet, possibly something in the trans.

All you need is the big starter ground which is around a 2-4gauge. one or 2 battery to body ground at least 8 gauge, and one more engine to body ground on the strut tower, I use 4 gauge but I am sure 8 gauge would work. I would check the alternator wiring to make sure nothing down there is melted. Clean tight connections as I am sure you know. When people relocate the battery they use one battery to body ground (2 or 0 gauge), and two body to motor ground.

Scrapping - present participle of scrap (Verb)
Verb:
1: To discard or remove from service (a retired, old, or inoperative vehicle, vessel, or machine), esp. so as to convert it to scrap metal.
2: Engage in such a fight or quarrel.
