Check the fuse. Then jump the fan and see if it turns on manually. After that you need to make sure the computer is commanding it to come on.

Fuse 10 (15amp) Hot in run only. Found in the fuse box inside the car I think.
Also check Fuse 5 (30amp) in the PDC under the hood.

Light green and Black should be the 2 wires on the fan pigtail. The black is ground.

you could also wire it to a switch thats what i had to do. had the same problem and went through 3 sets of fans even after replacing fuses and all. switch has been good for 3 years now.

That would work but most people don't like to rig stuff and would rather just fix it so it works how its suppose to. It would take under an hour to figure out, was it worth hitting a switch for 3 years? :P

Check your ground wires. Last summer I had a grounding issue. I would be driving and the temp gage would randomly spike but the fans were not kicking on... the warning tone on my dash would go off. Seconds later the fans would kick on.
Used the old trick of kicking heater fan to draw heat from engine when at lights. Thats fun when it's 90.

All I had to do to fix it was replace the short neg wire going from the battery terminal to the fram by the driver side head lamp. For good measure I ran another line to the fender. Just used solid 12 gage wire laft over from rewiring a house.
Only noticed it was a bad ground right off the bat cus I burned my hand on the screw while checking the engine.

Code cod 4515 or 1545?
