my gas guage stopped workin all of a sudden![X(] it worked fine before i filled it up now its stuck on E. can anyone help me out? thnx

 

First, start paying attention to the tripmeter... My gas guage hasn't worked for the last 145,000 miles or so. I'll get to it when the fuel pump finally dies, because the level assembly is attached to the fuel pump, which is inside the fuel tank. I know there's a how-to on fixing it, I'll hunt around a little and see if I can find it. It was part of a Walbro pump install how-to for a turbo Neon, pretty sure written by Dennis (neons.org).
