Radio wiring issue + HVAC bulb number?
I was away at a wedding for 2 days. Came home..went to go somewhere..no radio. HMMM. When I bought it about a month, ago the radio in it was already dead...so I thought. Put another radio in it from a '00 Stratus. No problem. Now this. At my shop I have 2 other mopar radios with the same inputs. Before I got it working again, I tried the other radios. I know it's in the wiring. I could shake it, and it would flicker. the interior looks easy to take apart. Top of the dash took me 5 seconds to scoop out the rest of te top. Plus should easy to replace the dash speakers! Alot easier then a G1 Breeze/Strat/Ciruis. Wow going off topic..anyway. I have a test light of course at my shop. The dimmer works! So it should be the power wire right? Not a big electrician. I have access to ALLDATA too for those who know that. (well to me it's NODATA :P) Sucks having no jams being a drummer, but nice with it being 5spd
Also my bulb went out on my right side of the HVAC controls. What is the bulb #?
Thanks!

Use the alldata wiring diagram and problem the wires on the radio pigtail and see where its not getting juice. Should need to test 3 wires, 2+, 1-. Not sure on the bulb. I would pull it and swing by the parts store with it.
HAHAHA found out it was the radio it's self. Replaced it with another one. No issues. Didn't have the ground hooked up to the other radio when I was looking for issues.
and the bulb number is 161.
stuff is so much easier when you're at your shop instead of home :P
