So here's the story. I bought this 2.0 sohc neon from a guy I know its a race car so everything is stripped out of it but it is still completely stock in the motor. I had raced it a couple of times and everything ran fine. Then one night my buddy Joe was sitting in it and flipping on all the switches starting up and shutting it off. He did this about 4 times within 45 seconds which normally would not be a problem except the fifth time he did it it would not start. So here's my question, what may have caused it to not start? At first it sounded like the fuel pump was not kicking on so I hard wired it right to the ignition switch since the pump still worked. now that that's taken care of and it still won't start we decided to check to see if we're getting spark which we weren't we follow that all the way back until we were getting power at the fuse box. The next thing in line in the wiring diagram looks like it is the computer so we put a multimeter on the computer and it seemed that we were getting any power from that which lead me to believe that I have fried my computer but I don't want to go out and buy a new one or even a used one when I'm not sure if that is the problem.What can I do or what can I check to find my problem or any other advice that you guys might have on the situation? Check crankshaft sensor if there is no spark. Is there injector pulse? What is the fuel pressure?
