Default Ignition code PO 351

I've got this code showing up on my 96 neon 2.0. It reads ignition coil A primary/secondary circuit malfunction. What does this mean?

It means that one half of your coilpack is not functioning properly. There are two parts to the coilpack, each firing 2 plugs at a time. I'm a bit surprised you aren't getting a misfire code in there as well...

First step would be to clear the code (pull the fuel pump fuse for a minute or so), then see if it comes back. If it does, the most likely fix would be replacing the coilpack (stick with either the dealership or MSD, whichever is cheaper that day...). But check the wiring/connectors going into it. Mine connector is busted and slips out of place now and then. I get the misfire code, never had the coilpack malfunction code though...

Best of luck!
