Smile How do i do an EGR block off?

Hi, i am looking for a how-to guide to doing a EGR block off on my 1996 neon sport DOHC, i plan on making my own block off plate, i've found a couple threads but as sad as it sounds i have a hard time understanding what they are saying, so if you could maybe please write up a Dummys guide on How-To that would be great! thanks

Dude. Pre-made block off kits are about $10, so unless you just like creating your own solution, get one of them and be done with it. It is basically a gasket, a plate, and some bolts. As for the vacuum lines, you just block them off.

Understand that when you do this, unless you have a performance PCM that does not have an EGR error code (or can be turned off), your silly little check engine light will remain on forever and ever......
