Okay so recently my fuel pump went out on me while driving down the road. i pulled over and i had it taken to a local shop. soon after they got it all fixed my fuel gauge hasnt been working properly. like i will fill it up and it stays on E and doesnt move what so ever. so i was woundering if there was a tip or trick to fix that with out dropping the tank again?

 

I'm going to guess its the sending unit

 

check the wires on the plug, otherwise the sending unit will need to come out for inspection. Usually its the sending unit, not the gauge.
