Exclamation Headlight issue

I live in northern Minnesota and last night it was in the single digits, I went outside to start my car and it started up but the headlights wouldn't turn on. The running lights went on and everything else worked fine but headlight and high beams wouldn't work at all so i thought it was a fuse and was going to replace it in the morning. I went out the next morning and the headlights and high beams were both working any ideas on what this could be?

Something maybe has moisture in it, cold weather can cause a lot of things to act funny. Once the problem occurs you need to start chasing wires with a wire diagram and figure out where your losing the power.
