lowered my neon on some megans with new gabriel strutts. and they have sucked from day 1. rides is great up front. but the rear is death. and 4 months later im pretty sure the rear strutts are dying. anyone know of another brand that can hold a 1.5 drop? for more than a few months? im not gonna spend 1k on konis or coils. its my dd and i just wanted a slight stance.

Well, ur first mistake is using those Autozone Gabriel strut, LOL.
I think KYB is a strut supplier for Chrysler, so the GR2 is probably the OEM strut.
Eibach makes good spring as well, some Manufacturers put their name on it in their performance division. Like TRD on Toyota is atually Eibach spring.
If you are going to do everything over again, I highly suggest you to go with Trailmaster's combo.

None, Coil over kit is always Go Big or Go Home type of deal. If you are going to use those budgeted "coil over spring" kit, you might as well just get struts with lowering spring.
Also, I think Koni makes adjustable rear struts for Neon, that might help your "fat ppl in back seat" problem.
Perhaps you should just change it back to KYB struts. They are fairly cheap.
