Default Stock to Aftermarket Stereo Help

I am going to change my stock radio to an aftermarket. I know how to get off the original radio no problem, but its the wiring that has me confused. I have the wiring harnesses, one for the speakers and one for the power. Do I just tie the wires to the same colors, then put electrical tape around them, and plug it in?

And what about the ground wire?

Thanks for any help!

Yes just connect the same color wires minus the remote wire (blue), and dimmer switch (orange) if the factory harness does not use them just tape them off. Use butt connectors to do it right, tape will work if thats all you have. The ground wires needs to hook to the black wire on the radio harness side. It should be a metal strap type of deal that clipped to the factory radio metal case, you may need to pick up a connector for that.
