Default just inherited a 95 4dr auto

hi , i'm from western nc , and have just inherited a 95.
from my nephew.
he took it away from his screw-up kid

400.00 , runs and drives good.
came with alpine cd player , speakers and tomtom one.

stock tires and wheels are ok , but look weak.
bad headliner. broke dash. soft cluster (hence the tomtom)
needs passenger door panel n inside door stuff
20l 16v purrs like a kitten , and engine looks clean . new tuneup and brakes.

most of the noxious grape bubblegum blue paint has been frightened away , and i'm gonna stuff it and scuff it in hide-all white

i think i'm gonna hang on to it if im gonna like it as well as everyone says i will ......... my other car(s) are town cars , but they arent cheap to drive , and don't always fit so well on windy mountain roads

ok. got the rust under control via rust retarder.

got the 2 part dash off .... the one part (top) looks fixable , as it is just cracked. the other part (with the a/c vents) is a nightmare..... so broken and brittle.....got to find a junkyard part there.

tried the solder the cluster trick ...... worked like a charm.....next i need to get the headliner out and see what i can do with it.

Welcome to the Neon world! Keep up the nice work and keep us posted. Try and find some ACR/RT rims as a substitute for ya. They are 14" also but keep the tires cheap. If you want bigger rims, the SRT rims fit but are 17".

i'm ok with the wheels it has on it for now ..... eventually i may get some , but for now everything is on the cheap.

paint has been postponed , due to this being a really rough time of year for rain/humidity.

i'm frustrated looking for junkyard parts for this car. there are cars in the yards, but they are all picked bare.
