When you flip the key do you get power at the fuse? You will need a test light or multimeter. Did the issue start after you fiddled with the tank/pump?

First off you need to check for power and ground at the pump when the key is turned to on. You will only get power for a second when the key is flipped. If there is power then the issue is the pump, or the wires inside the canister. If there is no power check power at the fuse and let me know what you find.

Zach's law: If it worked before you touched it, its more then likely something you touched.

Turns out the socket thing on the fuel pump was to small for the harness so it would feel like it went in but it didnt make contact, so yeah.
