high mileage dohc head?

rebuilding my 2.0 dohc motor. bottom end is easy,but I've never messed with a dohc head. What should I replace on a 323,000 mile head? stock rebuild on the motor. Thanks.

How was it running before the rebuild? Since you have it off, why not upgrade the springs and valves? Cams?
