Sorry guys but i have another problem...I have a 98 neon 2.0 DOHC i just hit 100k miles and now i have another problem. After running for a while and the engine is at operating temperature on take off from a stop my car will hesitate severly. Its to the point now where when it does hesitate my idle drops to about 500 and at some points my car will actually die and need to be restarted. I have no codes and i just recently changed the O2 sensor. However when I changed it some of the wires got mangled up but i fixed them with more wires and but to butt connectors. Is it possible that my new O2 sensor is bad? Could it be because i patched the wires? Could it be something else??? Im at a loss at this point but I dont feel safe driving the car since it has gotten this bad. When it does die I can hear the engine sound really strange almost as if it dieseling. It does generally start right back up after it shuts down. Please any help will be appreciated. Thank you for all your help.
