Can I use an engine with a EGR valve to put into a dodge neon without a EGR valve? Are all the sensors the same? Can the EGR valve be taken off and plug the hole. Thanks Bobby

Sorry about not leaving all the nessesary information. This is a 2000 Dodge neon 1ST generation, the oil plug was left out and the engine locked up. I have engine out of the car now. I found an 2000 engine with EGR valve and 30,000 miles. I need to know if I can use this engine in a car that did not have the EGR valve on it? Are all the sensors the same on the engines from 2000 thru 2001, 1st gen? Iam looking at the rods and mains to see if there is much damage. May just need a crank and bearings. Bobby
