Default New Horn

I just replaced the horn on my 96 neon. i connnected all the wires, then hit the horn. It worked then after hitting it about the 3rd time, it would not cut off. pulled the wiring of the horn. how can find out why it keeps staying on. Is there a way i can find out if the relay is stuck?

Thanks

Is your airbag light on? It may be an issue with your clockspring.

If you want to know if it is the relay swap the horn relay for one of the others.

Is it a new horn or one from the salvage yard? You can wire a spare 12v blinker or tale light bulb to see if it's the horn.

Make sure the opening of the horn is facing DOWN. So water and crud will fall out and not collect inside.
