Default Buying cold air, asking advice.

Ok, im buying a cold air and I figured I should ask some questions real quick from you guys out there. First, has anyone heard of ML Performance, are they a good brand, and second does the brand really matter. Is there a diffrence between Manual SOHC or Automatic SOHC when it comes to buying cold air. I have a manule. And second, does performance with CA really improve in the winter. Thanks, Matt

I have never heard of ML. There is no problem with the MTX and a CAI, its the ATX thats tricky. Brand is more of a preference, I would recomend the Iceman, it was real easy to install and came with the battery box so there is room for the CAI. One thing though, make sure you get a true CAI, not a short ram. Anything that gets cold air from either the fender well or the bottom of the engine compartment, like the iceman. There is going to be an increase in hp summer, winter, fall, and spring with the CAI. You are not grabbing air from the hot engine compartment, instead you are getting air that is whatever the outside air temp is, which is always going to be cooler than the engine compartment.
