DAWGIN' on my 96'
I went to the shop yesterday my family has always trusted to get an oil change, ( i was too lazy to change it myself). There was a young guy who checked me in, and about 20 minutes later he calls me out into the shop and starts doggin on my car. He was talking about how he used to have a mustang and how he would never race a neon if he saw one next to him. Than he went on to say that because its a 4d its not meant to be raced. I just wanted to put out how much of an idiot this guy is- my rebuilt dohc would probably keep up with him, and an srt4 (4 DOOR!!) would eat him also. I just listened to him talk and kinda laughed as he was doing it- next time, ima bring the camera and tape his loss and post it- cheers
do it.....if you do beat him dont rub it in his face just tell him you think he did well for having twice the cylinders...that always gets to them...
YOu can only laugh it off with them your car may not be fast enough but there is always a neon or another car out there faster then he would ever hope to be in his mustang. This isnt new but it always seems to be with these ******** who think a mustang is the ultimate answer to speed. Just tell him he is obviously not a gearhead, nor an enthusiast, but a biased shallow **** talker. My car may never be as fast as I would hope it to be. I may never reach an scca competition or license of any class but at least im not like everyone else and claim to be some racing legend or pro. Actions speak louder then words. If you have the time, the money, and the training to be a world class driver. Prove it to yourself. Not some JOEBLOW WHO DONT KNOW everything if anything about it...

personally, I would love to see that. I've raced a few mustangs, the later model ones don't have nearly as much pep as the brand might imply. It has the reputation of being a muscle car and another loss might help people come around and ask themselves WTF they were thinking in the first place.
