i have a question, i saw 3 2dr neons at a junk yard i was at, i didnt have time to look at them, oen said sport on the side and the others didnt i dont think, or atleast i didnt see it

my question is this, do all sport neons come with the DOHC, i called the junk yard owner, he said he didnt have a dohc neon, all of his were sohc[>:] i know this guy, i have had a problem before with him giving bad info, i have a feeling he has no idea what hes talking about

i KNOW one was a sport, and i was under the impression all sports were dohc, is this incorrect?

 

he is correct i have a sport and its a SOHC sport just means that it has more options and ****

 

Hey man I have a 95 neon sport and its a SOHC alls that means is that it is a Single overhead cam and a DOHC is a Dual overhead cam

 

...i know what SOHC and DOHC stand for

anyway, i called around and found as 97 2dr that was suppose to have a dohc in it, went all the way to the junk yard and it was a sohc, on the bright side i did find an 84 mazda rx-7 gsl that had a few dash parts i needed for my 85

still looking for a head near by, right now i cant spend $400 sending it to the shop to have it fixed, to many other things inline ahead of it

why is it so hard to find a dohc neon, or is it just that way here, lucky me[:'(]

 

Check ebay, there was one on there this week for $20.
