can i put a srt 4 head on my motor? i want to convert to dual overhead cam . what all would be needed to put the srt 4 head on my 1st gen? thanks for any information

 

You will need a 2.4 short block to do it. There is no way to put a srt-4 head on the 2.0 neon motor.

 

The head does fit the 2.0L, but I think there was an issue with one of the oil passages lining up on the newer SRT/PT heads, turbo or otherwise... I really haven't followed the 2.4L swap projects that much lately. The earlier 2.0L DOHC and 2.4L have the same head, as in identical casting numbers... so you'd run into the same problem using, say, a 2.4L block from an older Caravan. There's another post on here about converting to a DOHC. Not that hard of a swap at all.
