Default shaved neon

got a 96 coup, and we'er thinking of shaving the doors and have found 11,15,35, and 50 pound solenoid kits. dose anyone know what would be sufficent to pop the doors open without swinging 'em all the way to 3 days into next week? just looking to pop them enough to clear the latch by an inch or two.

The 15's should be good enough to pop the door.

15lbs will not be good enough, the only thing that it will do will be slighty getting it off the latch but you will not be able to grab the door and open it because it will still be hung. All you need is 35 lbs, and that will get you where you need to be about 2 inches off the latching mechanism that way you can open it the rest of the way. Something you have to thing about is the smaller the solenoid the smaller the door popper so that is why I say the 15lb will get you know here because the popper will be to small to swing the door open. the neon doors are a little heavy so you will be good with 35lbs. That is what I put on my car.
