Default HELP ME PLEASE! 98 neon 4. Sohc manual trans...Can you figure it out?

I have a 1998 dodge neon 4.0 SOHC Manual 5 speed transmission. I have talked to so many mechanics and car people and they all say the same thing...they have no idea and it doesn't make any sense.
I went to start my car one day and it wouldn't start. Once my dad and I got it to his house the $@*#!^& started and ran at idol when I tried to put it in gear it would stall unless I reved up the rpms. While driving, its as if the transmission disengages (DISENGAGES WHILE STILL IN GEAR, IT DOES NOT POP OUT OF GEAR) and I can't accelerate anymore, the car will continue to run until I get slowed down to about 10mph and then it will stall and it won't start again until I pop off the #1 spark plug wire and put it back or leave it sitting for a good hour or so. It recent started acting like it wasn't getting enough fuel, or something, because It now has started jerking at all speeds, like its running out of fuel and the darn thing has 1/2 tank of no-ethanol Supreme unleaded fuel. I replaced the crank shaft position sensor (this seems to have fixed the stalling when put in gear), camshaft position sensor, plug wires, and ignition coil pack. I have both fuel and spark. Everybody is stumped and I am very near broke trying to fix the car. The car has tremendous sentimental value and I want to get it fixed. Im just at a loss, along with about 3 certified mechanics and about 15 people that grew up working on cars. I really need help.
