Can a computer from an auto be used in a manual??? its all stock.

No
You can run a sohc pcm into a dohc pcm and vise versa but the car will run rich other than that it'll work.

is it a performance pcm or just the stock? I have a 98 sohc atx that I need a performance pcm in.

You can use it, but you will probably get a CEL for the ATX-specific features. Won't affect the way the car runs, so you can use it for now while looking for a more appropriate unit...
