what do i have?
Its either gonna say on the valve cover or look in your manua. More likely than not since you have a 95 its gonna be a SOHC, but dont fret, the 2.0 SOHC is a kick *** motor for this class of car.
If the 8th digit on your VIN is a "C", it's a SOHC. If it's a "Y", it's a DOHC.
Haynes manuals are handy. You remove the stock air intake unit, and the POS... er, I mean "SRI"... replaces it. It's a couple of bolts, clamps, and about a half hours worth of work.
Best of luck!

DOHC has 2 cam gears, SOHC has 1, i had to explain this to a guy at a junk yard, he said he had a head for my neon, when i got there it was a sohc, i had to pull the timing belt cover off to show him[8D] thats the easiest way to tell for sure i suppose

why you would go with an SRI instead of a CAI I wouldn't know. An SRI would draw slightly cooler air than your current intake brings in. A true CAI would draw in close to the same temperature air that his passing over the hood of your car. Colder air means denser oxygen molecules, meaning better combustion. I wouldn't have gone with an SRI, personally.
To answer your question, all that needs be done to install an SRI is to remove your stock intake and bolt on the new SRI. It should be pretty evident once you've got the intake off.
