Default throttle body help...

ok, i have a mtx sohc in my 95, what will the atx throttle body do? is there any mods i have to do to make it fit if it is worth it? i have heard alot of info on this but non that tells me if it is a mod job or direct fitment. i have a whole other engine sittin here at my shop, with the atx, it is my donar motor for head porting and such so i am not without a ride. so, will this atx throttle body work easily? also, mine has cruise, will that matter if the atx one does not? it dont work in my car but the cable is there.
thanks gurues!

It is a direct replacement. The throttle plates on both are 52mm. The auto is straight through at 52mm, but the manual necks down to 49mm. Dyno usuaully show around 3-4 hp more out of a manual TB.

If it's coming off a DOHC and going on a SOHC (or vice versa), at least swap out the TPS, they're aligned differently. Be careful with the bolts that hold the sensors on, they like to snap...

Best of luck!
