I have never personally used them, but I have heard of a lot of similar problems for some reason.

i checked the APC website, the makers of the bulbs, i found out that i have the wrong bulb[sm=chairshot.gif] the dodge, chevy and ford all have the same part number but the last letter is different, i have a 504050C, which is chevy.. dodge has a D, could that be a big enough difference to matter?

Never heard of that. Usually there is just a # of the bulb. All car manufacturers use the same #'s

LED's are directional, so it matters which way you put them in. I'm not familiar with APC branded stuff personally, but one would hope they'd put in some sort of protection for that... I had a pair briefly that wouldn't turn on at all unless they were installed the right way, and even then they would blink twice as fast unless you wired in a resistor. On top of that, they caused my center brake light to not always work, which got me pulled over... in a state where I had an outstanding ticket, which cost me lots...

Best of luck!
