Intake on Automatic?
First off i did search for this info and found some useful info but not enough to be real clear so i'm sorry if this is an old over asked question.
My friend has a 98 DOHC Automatic and is wondering what CAI's will fit on it. All the ones i've looked up say manual tranny. Will they still fit an auto just fine? Is there certain ones that will fit an auto just fine? Are there some that will fit with just a little work? Thanks for your help. It's much appreciated.

www.neongoodies.com used to sell an adapter that goes on your TB. Just a small spacer, but does the trick. You can try emailing Vitor (site owner and Neon enthusiast) to see if he still has some around.
The Iceman, Kirk, or DIY/3.0L "ghetto" intake are the only decent ones out there. I'm not positive Iceman makes one specifically for the ATX, but that may be why Vitor stopped making the spacers... Kirk requires you to do your own modifications to the battery tray (or relocate to trunk). The DIY one can be done with little to no modification of the stock battery tray.
Best of luck!
