Hey guys, I just finished my atx to mtx swap and im still running my 98 atx ecu. I have a check engine light that i know is from the torque converter code, however my cruise control has stopped working. I double checked all the vacuum lines and electric connection but it still isn't working. Im wondering if it has anything to do with the atx computer...

Will swapping to a mtx ecu fix it? or is there another problem? I dont know how mtx cars with cruise are set up...

 

Dunno on that one. But it makes sense that the PCM wouldn't allow the cruise to come on without the torque converter locked up... recipe for overheating the tranny...
