sensor diaghram
Does anybody know where I can get print out of all the sensor locations and reset buttons on diaghram on the internet? Does Haynes put that in there shop manuals for a 96 dodge neon highliner 4door sedan.
Haynes does make a 1st gen Neon hook, it's pretty handy. It will give a pretty good description of all the sensor locations, usually with pictures.
No reset buttons that I can think of for anything. You can reset the PCM by pulling the fuel pump fuse for a couple of minutes. That fuse is the 20 amp fuse located in the black box behind the battery. If you are getting a CEL, restting the PCM might make the problem go away (false alarm), but usually not (faulty sensor, actual problem).
Best of luck!

I looked at haynes at auto parts store and doesn't tell you where to the find speed sensor or 02 sensor on a 96 dodge neon highliner 2.0, L4 , Sohc, smpi 16v. It tells where to find the upper and lower ones but the single 02 sensors.
The speed sensor is on the tranny, it runs off a gear on the differential. It's on top of the gearbox section, a lot of folks use it to refill the fluid...
All Neons have 2 O2 sensors, an upper/upstream/sensor1 (above the catalytic converter, right after the exhaust manifold) and a lower/downstream/sensor2 (after the catalytic converter, underneath the car).
