do i have to change the wireing when i swap the motor

That would depend on what your swaping in and what you have now.

if your swaping from a SOHC to a DOHC or vise versa, yes. if your swaping from a 2.0 to a 2.4......well take some time off from work, cuse you have a whole lot of swaping to do lol. if just a SOHC to SOHC (or DOHC to DOHC) pull and drop.

yeah sohc and dohc wiring is usually the same some differences were made over the course of the years (ie fans sensors,etc.) but as for the ecu its plug and play.
