2nd gen probes had a 2.5 DOHC V6 that i think was about 150hp
with that output your better off sticking with a 2.0 dohc motor at least you shead the weight....

the first gen probes had the 3.0 and yes it was the same 3.0 that was in a tarus.... the 2nd gen probes had a 2.5 DOHC V6 that i think was about 150hp don't quote me on that... they are a pretty small v6 and with very few mods can be quite quick.... I have seen an all motor probe with stock bottom end run 13.1
