Default v6 motor swap in a neon

i need to know if anyone knows how to swap any v6 in a 95 neon and how to do it if you could email me at skylinegtrr8cer@yahoo.com it would be much appreciated thank you

Why not swap it with the 2.4L SRT-4 motor? Space might be an issue with a V6...

yeah i agree with matt the srt-4 motor will drop in i suppose you could drop in a v6 but it would have to be a small one and at any rate it still wouldn't have the output of the 2.4.

try looking at a ford probe v6 the output isn't that great and it will take a lot of fabrication but it may fit!

the 3.3l that was used in 1st gen intrepids is real small with a surprising punch, in the next day or two i'll look at mine and do some measuring and get back to ya, but you can bet dollors to doughnuts there will be some costum fab in the mix

Your really better off stickin with the SRT-2.4

That would be cool if you could find a hood with a big enough scoop or height to fit.
