Crazy? Yes. But sounds cool. Thatd be killer, i want some info for an 05 as well !

 

Why not swap it with the 2.4L SRT-4 motor? Space might be an issue with a V6...

yeah i agree with matt the srt-4 motor will drop in i suppose you could drop in a v6 but it would have to be a small one and at any rate it still wouldn't have the output of the 2.4.

 

try looking at a ford probe v6 the output isn't that great and it will take a lot of fabrication but it may fit!

the 3.3l that was used in 1st gen intrepids is real small with a surprising punch, in the next day or two i'll look at mine and do some measuring and get back to ya, but you can bet dollors to doughnuts there will be some costum fab in the mix

 

Your really better off stickin with the SRT-2.4

 

i found these pics online a few years ago, i dont remember what size v6 or even if it was a dodge engine, but i was in shock.

That would be cool if you could find a hood with a big enough scoop or height to fit.
