Ok what would be more fun than owning an R/T? Making one of your own. Last night I decided that I want my 95 highline to be an R/T inside and out. I was wondering what features the R/T had regarding interior, body, and handling. This is my project to have an R/T and if you guys can give me all the info I need to do it ill appreciate it. I knwo thers more to it than just throwing a DOHC 2.0L in there. I mean I want R/T factory wheels, the white paint with the blue skunk stripes i mean it all. Just give me a list of everything ill have to do to make it an rt. Than after I have the R/T make it an SRT-4 killer lol (sorry SRT guys.)

 

The R/T packaged offered a DOHC engine, 150 HP engine P185/65HR14 tires, disc brakes on all 4 wheels, and sway bars front and back.

So far this is all I could find, but when I find the dress-up options I'll let you know.

I've got a set of the 2000 Sport aluminum wheels which are very similar to the SRT-4 wheel.

I have the original window sticker and manual to my r/t and all so Ill dig it out in the morning.

 

I was able to find a checklist of what was available on the '99 Neon versus the '99 R/T and the '99 Sport. It's quite helpful for anyone wants to turn their existing Neon into an R/T by swapping parts in. I'm looking to add options to my current Neon with some of the things that didn't come with it, along with a few performance parts.

Well at this point I want to know where I can get stock R/T alloys without going to the dealer to bend over and take it in the *** to get them

 

I can tell you that there's a guy on e-bay who's selling 3 of the OEM R/T wheels. They're 16" wheels and come with tires. They're currently selling for $95 per tire/wheel.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the R/T style. I liked the aluminum wheels on the sport, aside from the fact that they're only 14".
