Hi all,

Once again my lovely Neon gave me this fantastic issue...... I had a problem when accelerating the car would Buck, So i changed the

plugs and wire the problem went away for a month. Then i thought it might be a bad plug and wires so i returned the wires got new set

and changed plugs and issue is still here. I tried dry gas just incase water got in tank we had bad storms here and still bucks. Today it

backfired from the front of the motor when it was bucking i had to press on gas hard thru the buck to avoid a accident and it backfired.

Anyone have any idea what i could be missing here????

My guess would be timing jumped one tooth, got any codes? if not check the valve timing.
Oh and check to ensure you have the wires corectly installed first.
