which engine oil?
5W30 is what i recoment. 10W30 I belive is in the manual, but 5W30 is superior in quality, and allows everything in the motor to run much smoother.
But Gulf,Comma oils?I live in Scandinavia / Estonia. We have -25..-30 degrees in winter! And manual gearbox, whitch you use? ATF3/4 used in aut.gearbox.

i run 15w50 mobil 1 in my race car and it locked up, so im thinking its a bit too thick for the pump to keep up
5w30 or 10w30 are fine, if its got a ****load of miles you wanna step to 10w40 probly to help keep oil pressure up
the oil you need depends on the engine, a tight motor needs thin oil to keep flow up, a loose engine needs thick oil to take up the extra clearence in the bearings - stick to whats recommended by the mfr.
my daily driver the old engine was tired and i used 10w40 to help shut it up at higher RPM
