Default Projectors :-/

I just got projector headlights and they are dimn as hell and dont light anything up... Is there a way to adjust the angel of it or w/e so that there is more shine?

It isnt really bright unless you're on your knees and bending your head.. You have to be real low to the ground to get good brightness...

Do you have a chilton or haynes manual? They have a step by step on how to adjust the headlights. pick one up at your local parts store for about $15

dude, I just installed my projectors 3 days ago, to correct the dim your gona need a better wattage bulb I orderd some some blue 120- watt ones I think something like that, just look on ebay for the bulbs but as far as adjusting them you can, you will notice a screw on the top of headlight when you install them on the car it will kinda hidden about luckly in the frame of the car is a hole to stick a screwdriver in and make adjustments, there is another one as well but is harder to get to but after adjusting it makes a huge difference, also there is a plate inside the projector housing which is flexible its set at a certain angle like an obtuse angle, adjusting this will help as well..

The newer projector headlights from DEPO (same brand that makes the Crystal Clear ones) are the only ones with good light ouput. The Rallye-style dual bulbs and APC prjectors are complete crap, there is no fixing them without an HID kit...

Thats good to know, I didn't know that DEPO was making them now. I looked at them a while ago, I love the look, but don't want to give up good light output. I might have to pick some up. Do you know whos selling them?

WATCH OUT FOR THOSE PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS THO, I BOUGHT THE DUAL RALLY STYLE ONES, and the drivers bright pod broke on me, i think a rock or something, anyway, the lens broke and if that happens, you have to buy a completely new SET of them, not just a pod, or the one side assembly. i am dissapointed in that fact, but the look is way better than the stock eyeballs.

Modern is selling them. There are some before and after pictures on that "unmentionable" forum... The "before" was Crystal Clear DEPOS with an HID kit, and the "after" was the DEPO projectors with stock bulbs. The DEPO projectors were brighter and sharper, incredibly so. Did I mention that was with stock bulbs in the projectors?... There isn't room enough behind the casing to install an HID kit without cutting away some of the metal in the frame. But it has been done, and word is it's even more incredibly bright (haven't seen pics yet...).
