yeah i agree with road runner but i still believe the sohc lacks top end power.

 

first off, it does have a diff. pcm, i dont have enough room in the signature to write any more, next off 135 was what a was running when along side of the srt-4, i also have a program on my lap top that plugs into the obd-2 port under the dash. it allows you to monitor various sensors and readings from your car, such as rpm's, speed sensor, and others. it also has a dyno program, and a track timer for 1/4 mile. road conditions have a factor, tires, drivers, all cars were manuals. and many other factors that can alter an outcome. i also took my cluster apart and remover the needle stopper just past 120. ive had the needle all the way to the tens digit in the odometer before the rev limiter kicked in. last time a had a camera in the car i got a pic of the needle sitting on the stopper and the car kept goin. if i can get my scanner working i will post it.

 

ive got over 10 grand in my neon and it still cant touch srt-4's

 

if you put 10 grand into your car and cant touch an srt-4 then there is sumthing wrong with your car. unless that 10 grand is mostly visual then performance. if there is 10 grand in the motor then it would be deffinetly be able to smoke an srt-4

no just think of it this way, if a tubo kit is 3000.00 and a crate motor is 1900.00 and cams 400.00 thats just 5300.00. and you would say that wouldnt be able to beat an srt-4? what about 10 grand?

a lot is looks body kit, rims, tires, system,lights,ground effects, racing seats, and other stuff like but i also have a full suspension upgrade(lowering springs, 8 way adjustable struts, lower and uper control arms, and sway bars) full exhaust, cams, stage 2 clutch, underdrive pulley, intake, short shifter... i think i got everything

and still doesnt come close to touching an srt4

 

well maybe that is where your problem is. with the added weight from the system, the rims, and the other stuff, its going to slow you down a bit. is your car a sohc? that might be the problem too...or driver?
