Default idle in my dohc changed with my new TB

Ok I just installed a 55mm TB I bought from a guy in my same town....It looks great and has great responce. The problem is that with my original TB when I release the gas to shift my RPM's dropped to idle. That seemed normal to me....but with this TB the RPMs kinda float down real slow while im shifting.... and even when im barely rolling like at a stop sign they still hang around 12-13. They dont drop all the way down to 9 or 10 until i am completely stopped. Is this normal? or do i have a faulty connection or maybe a air leak?

Did you change everything over from the stock TB to the 55mm?

try changing them over from your MTX TB, that should fix the problem.

No its not normal, if you swap a ATX TB onto a MTX, you need to use the MTX sensors.

ok so i pulled the 55mm TB of and went to pull the sensors when i noticed a sliver of light coming through the throttle body...it seems that the plate isnt completely sealing. my original closes all the way and no light is visable. This most likely is the problem.....what does everyone think?
